About the role

Calvary’s People Connect team are the first point of contact for HR enquiries. The People Connect Coordinator provides advice and assistance to employees and managers and is responsible for triaging queries and providing administrative support both over the phone and via our People Connect platform. This position is Full Time and ideally will be based out of Calvary's Melbourne CBD or Warabrook, Newcastle offices.

Your main duties will include :

  • Providing a high level of customer service and general advice to internal stakeholders seeking HR assistance.
  • Administering the centrally coordinated worker screening and compliance for Calvary Nationally, including National Criminal History Record Checks, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Checks, AHPRA (Nursing Registration) and Working Rights.
  • Data entry of HR information into relevant systems, including updating and maintaining electronic HR files.

About you

  • Completed or working towards tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or demonstrated experience in a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to build trusted relationships and commitment to quality customer service.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and to prioritise conflicting tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of and skills in the Microsoft Suite.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A personal commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary.
  • Experience in the use of Human Resource Information Systems, preferable Chris21, Jira, Teams or Amazon Connect will be highly regarded.
