Sofology is seeking a People Business Partner for maternity cover to shape their HR strategy and support leaders in the southern region. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for creating an inclusive workplace culture, with a commitment to promoting employee well-being and collaboration across teams.
Your new role…As a People Partner, you will join Sofology’s vibrant People team, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to shape and deliver a compelling people strategy. This is a field-based role where you will spend the majority of your time out on the road, visiting our southern stores and supporting leaders on the ground. You will be a trusted advisor, combining commercial acumen with a passion for culture and colleague experience. Every day, you will collaborate across Centres of Excellence and the wider HR community, ensuring best practice in areas such as inclusion, learning, internal communications and employee relations. From hiring to performance, your impact will be felt throughout the colleague journey.A day in the life of… Here is a snapshot of what your day could look like:Building strong relationships with business leaders to implement the people plan for your area, balancing today's priorities with long-term goalsCoaching managers through ER cases, performance conversations and team developmentUsing data and insights to identify trends and inform decisionsCollaborating with other People Partners and HR specialists to drive connected, high-impact initiativesSupporting transformation programmes such as restructures, organisational design and culture changePromoting wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and talent initiatives to ensure we remain an exceptional place to workIn an ideal world…You are someone who lives and breathes Sofology’s values, with a blend of strategic HR experience and a genuine passion for people.
