Job description

A Senior HRBP position supporting the Head of People, based on site 5 days a week at the head offices, leading the people agenda and day-to-day HR functions for a fast-paced and busy UK business.

Key interfaces:

The role holder will interact with both Operations and Head Office teams across the business, including senior business leaders. In addition to providing people solutions, administrative tasks, and reporting, the role holder will liaise regularly with key business departments.

Business Partner responsibilities:

  • Support regional and district managers to implement HR initiatives and processes, providing comprehensive assistance and building a pipeline of talent.
  • Work closely with 2 HRBPs to improve manager capability by challenging, influencing, and supporting managers to develop their knowledge and ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Lead ER cases, liaising with solicitors to support effective decision-making. Possess thorough knowledge and experience of employment relations and legislation.
  • Influence managers' thinking and develop their confidence to drive and maintain high standards and high-performing teams.
  • Support each stage of the employee lifecycle, seeking opportunities to improve and adopting change to deliver the business plan.
  • Advise, influence, and provide constructive feedback to managers to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of coaching and empathy with line managers to encourage a positive employee experience.
  • Encourage innovative thinking in organizational design, promoting efficiencies and effective change.

Business Change Initiatives:

  • Ensure training needs are identified and develop solutions to support team development.

Candidate profile:

  • Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week in Ruislip.
  • Ideally experienced in the QSR or retail industries.
  • Ability to think creatively to overcome people challenges.
  • Proven experience with complex ER cases, especially involving multi-site employees.
