Acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to designated business units, driving the Human Resources agenda to support the overall business strategy. This role involves working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. The People Business Partner ensures that Human Resources policies and procedures are effectively implemented and aligned with the organization's goals.

This role will partner with leaders and managers to develop and implement HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that support the achievement of business objectives and promote a positive workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their specific departmental goals and develop HR strategies to support these objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Coach managers on performance management best practices and provide support in handling performance issues.
  • Facilitate organizational development initiatives, such as change management and team-building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to business leaders to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to proactively address people focused requirements in the achievement of business objectives.
  • Act as a single point of contact for employees and managers advising on Company policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans and conflict resolutions.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations and career development.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a business partner or strategic HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex employee relations cases
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders and effective communication skills
  • Good understanding of company operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills
