Job summary

Domus Recruitment are partnering with a reputable provider in South East England to appoint a People Business Partner who will oversee a portfolio of homes across Kent, Surrey, London & Essex. The successful candidate will support succession planning, talent development, and contribute to the wider People & Culture strategy alongside the Head of People & Culture.

You will split your time evenly between broader HR delivery and ER casework/investigations, providing pragmatic advice and ensuring

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to employee relations or HR practice.
• Significant HR generalist or advisory experience, ideally gained in adult social care.

Domus Recruitment are working closely with a reputable provider in South East England, that are looking for a People Business Partner to oversee a portfolio of homes across Kent, Surrey, London & Essex.

You will support succession & talent planning, organisational change, performance management & contribute to the wider People & Culture strategy & engagement initiatives alongside the Head of People & Culture. You will split your time evenly between two core areas – broader HR delivery & ER casework and investigations.

Key Responsibilities of a People Business Partner

• Support the development and delivery of employee engagement action plans within the client group.
• Ensure effective delivery of the wider People and Culture strategy within their client group.
• Manage a high volume and varied caseload of ER matters (within a regulated environment), acting as the first point of contact for allocated managers and leaders and providing clear, detailed and pragmatic advice throughout.
• Identify trends and learning from ER cases, and proactively develop and update policies, procedures, templates and guides to ensure effective people management in line with company direction and employment legislation.
• Take part in all mandatory/statutory learning and development and attend appraisals when needed.
• Protect the environment by reducing waste and unnecessary travel whilst at work.

People Business Partner Requirements:

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to employee relations or HR practice.
• Significant HR generalist or advisory experience, ideally gained in adult social care.
• Demonstrable track record of influencing and partnering with leaders.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practice.
