Role Description:

We’re excited to be looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised People Assistant to join the BUILDHOLLYWOOD people team at our busy office in London. Your role will be to support our people by providing excellent administrative support across a broad range of employee lifecycle and people focussed activities across the UK and internationally. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who’d love to progress their career in the people and culture space.

We’re looking for someone who is as passionate as us about keeping our culture supportive and special.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Supporting with the recruitment process, including screening candidates, scheduling interviews, reference checks and right to work checks.
  • In collaboration with the Workplace Manager be responsible for the onboarding of new candidates, making everyone’s experience positive from offer to their first day.
  • Completing administrative tasks such as drafting offer letters, contracts for new starters, change of employment letters, etc.
  • Updating our HR system (PeopleHR) to ensure all records are up to date.
  • Support the development and maintenance of global people processes and policies. With a focus of educating and guiding our employees on these.
  • Developing and maintaining brilliant relationships with the team.
  • Be a main point of contact for general people related enquiries.
  • Stay up to date with legal requirements and industry best practices to ensure our people policies and processes comply with relevant regulations.
  • Support the team with coordinating annual community focussed events.
  • Assist the team with yearly people projects such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, supporting the set up and roll out of a new HR software, organising mental health initiatives etc.

About You:

  • Experience of working in a similar HR or administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a people-focused approach
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and spin lots of plates.
  • A commitment to wanting improve the experience of our people.
  • Possesses a passion for developing a career in people and culture
