A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a People and Culture Advisor to join a busy People and Culture team based in Sheffield, working in a fast-paced environment and delivering a first-class advisory service to the business.

Purpose of the Role

The People and Culture Advisor will work with operational management teams to deliver generalist HR services, including employee relations case management, coaching support, and guidance on formal and informal people matters.

Job Function
  1. Build HR capability across the Group, establishing trusted relationships.
  2. Manage, coach, and resolve employee relations matters (conduct, performance management, absence management, grievance, and probation).
  3. Provide guidance and support on family leave matters.
  4. Review employee relations data and work with management to address specific concerns.
  5. Provide advice and guidance to management and colleagues on HR policy and procedures.
  6. Understand key people issues and identify ways to address such concerns.
  7. Develop and facilitate HR training material.
  8. Support the People and Culture team with various projects.
  9. Act as gatekeeper of calibre and standards across the business.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  1. Experience advising and coaching colleagues on complex employee relations matters.
  2. Strong understanding of employment law.
  3. Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels within the Group.
  4. Excellent organization and communication skills.
