Job summary

Kids Planet Day Nurseries Limited is seeking a People (HR) Advisor to join our friendly, field-based team. You will support day-to-day operational people matters within the designated region, working closely with the HR Business Partner and the wider People team.

The role involves advising managers, handling investigations, probation and performance reviews, absence management, wellbeing support, training delivery, recruitment collaboration, payroll administration, and maintaining HR records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years HR generalist experience.
• Collaborative and engaging approach and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in producing accurate employment documentation and correspondence.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for people queries and casework across the employee life cycle with guidance to managers.
• Support investigations and advise on disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Advise line managers on probationary reviews and performance management.
• Assist with managing short- and long-term absences in a supportive way.
• Act as a wellbeing champion and HR contact for mental health support in the region.
• Deliver training modules for existing and new managers.
• Support HR leadership on projects and stakeholder engagement to achieve People Strategy objectives.
• Collaborate with recruitment to manage onboarding and talent attraction.
• Maintain HR systems, employee records and data for reporting.
• Develop a resource hub with training materials and guidance.
• Support TUPE activities with HR Business Partners.
• Assist with payroll administration and employee payroll queries.
• Update systems and maintain personal records for staff and casework.
• Draft invite letters, outcome letters, minute taking, filing and meeting coordination.
