Job summary

Artis HR are recruiting a People Advisor on a 6-month fixed term contract with a broad, hands-on remit across the employee lifecycle. You will work closely with managers and the HR team to provide practical day-to-day HR advice and support.

You'll handle employee relations, onboarding, performance, salary reviews and payroll input, while contributing to L&D and wellbeing initiatives within a flexible hybrid pattern (2 days on site, 3 from home) and 25 days leave pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR role providing advice to managers and employees.
• CIPD Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidential and proactive approach to HR matters.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
• Supporting managers with employee relations matters including performance, conduct, disciplinary and grievance processes
• Assisting with investigations and hearings
• Supporting managers throughout the employee lifecycle
• Overseeing probation processes and supporting salary reviews
• Managing and improving onboarding and offboarding processes
• Supporting recruitment activity when required
• Preparing HR reports and maintaining accurate people data
• Supporting the annual appraisal process
• Providing information for monthly payroll
• Managing and responding to HR queries through the HR inbox
• Supporting learning and development activity and training coordination
• Getting involved in employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
• Supporting wider HR projects as required
