Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and professional People Advisor to deliver HR support across all sites, including Oldbury, Smethwick, and Hinckley. The role involves travel and some evening work due to the night operations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting line managers with Employee Relations cases such as misconduct, disciplinary issues, grievances, and performance concerns.
  • Monitoring absence and advising managers on appropriate actions.
  • Delivering training to managers.
  • Assisting in interpreting policies and procedures.
  • Supporting project delivery and initiatives like 'Top 10 for the year.'
  • Making informed decisions considering facts, goals, and risks.
Qualifications

Ideally CIPD qualified or willing to achieve this. You should be an experienced HR professional with a strong commercial outlook and a continuous improvement mindset. Key skills include:

  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising good judgment.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication with managers.
  • Managing a diverse workload.
  • Planning and organizing your diary to support business needs.
