We are looking for a Full Time HR People Advisor to join our team in Lenziemill.

As an HR People Advisor, you will partner with the HR Manager and operate as a true generalist, managing the day-to-day running of the HR department at the site.

Salary: Up to £33,500

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required

What you’ll do:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the operational success and development of the HR department, working closely alongside senior site management
  • Heavy involvement in employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Managing absence effectively
  • Delivering induction training for new starters and updating welcome pack information regularly
  • Carrying out all elements of HR administration, such as starters, leavers, referencing, security, and compliance checks
  • Assisting with recruitment and selection processes on site

Who you are:

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Experience in a similar HR Advisory/Officer role
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
  • Previous experience in FMCG, logistics, or supply chain sectors is highly desirable, as well as exposure to a unionized environment
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload effectively
