Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7PZ, GB (Main)

We are seeking a Full-Time HR People Advisor for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract in Hemel Hempstead. As an HR People Advisor, you will partner with the HR Manager and act as a true generalist, managing the daily operations of the HR department at the site.

Role details:

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Working pattern: Monday to Friday

Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7PZ

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational success and development of the HR department, working closely with senior site management
  • Handle employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Manage absence
  • Deliver induction training and update welcome pack information
  • Carry out HR administration tasks: starters, leavers, referencing, security, and compliance checks
  • Assist with recruitment and selection processes on site

Candidate profile:

  • Experience in a similar HR Advisory/Officer role
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
  • Experience in FMCG, logistics, or supply chain sectors is desirable; exposure to unionised environments is a plus
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload
