Mind Retail is seeking a People Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support managers and staff across employee relations, recruitment and onboarding. The role includes HR administration, lifecycle support and collaboration with payroll within a busy retail environment.

In our People Advisor role, you'll have responsibility for a wide range of varied activities: you'll work closely alongside our line managers, supporting and advising them, end-to-end, on a range of employee relations and people matters. You'll also have oversight of the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring that they are conducted in a timely and compliant manner, as well as ensuring that information in relation to staff changes (such as contract changes, absence & leavers) is captured accurately within our HR system, liaising with our payroll department as necessary.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract providing maternity cover within our People Team. We're ideally looking for someone to join us between mid and late October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative People Team, helping to deliver a high-quality people service across our retail operation.
The primary focus of this role is providing practical, high-quality support and advice to managers and employees across a range of employee relations and people matters. You'll work across the full employee lifecycle, from employee relations and recruitment through to onboarding and people administration, while also having opportunities to get involved in People projects and wider initiatives that support our People Strategy.
We're looking for someone who has experience in supporting line managers through a variety of employee relations cases, including but not limited to sickness, disciplinary, grievances and flexible working requests. In addition, we're looking for someone that has experience of supporting and administering processes in relation to the recruitment & onboarding of employees.
