Job Type: Full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours per week but all working patterns considered)
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience and location
Location: South West England is preferred, but we will consider applications from the South East region. This is a hybrid role, you’ll be mainly based from home, but there’ll be regular travel across the South West for client and internal meetings.
What you’ll be doing As a People Advisor, you’ll play a big role in delivering outstanding service to our clients, providing expert advice on a wide range of HR matters. You’ll work closely with our People Partnering Manager and People Business Partners to support and advise clients on everyday HR issues, from HR admin to employee relations cases. You’ll also be key in building strong client relationships, making sure we’re providing them with the personalised HR service their organisation needs.
Your responsibilities will be many and varied, but never boring. Here’s a glimpse into your day-to-day role:
- Provide a first-class service, helping clients with day-to-day HR queries over the phone, virtually, and face-to-face, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Manage HR processes and documentation with accuracy, including administering HRIS, Right to Work checks, and DBS checks.
- Draft letters, documentation, and policies, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice.
- Handle straightforward employee relations cases with confidence and support more complex cases when needed.
- Build lasting relationships with your clients, helping them address their people challenges and grow their businesses.
- Work alongside our People Partnering Manager and People Business Partners to ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality service.
- Keep up with HR trends and best practice, actively contributing to our team’s success.
About youYou’re an experienced HR professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering practical advice. Whether it’s handling employee relations or supporting day-to-day HR processes, you’re confident and capable in guiding clients through all HR challenges.
