  • Address: The Active Learning Trust Central Team - North Suffolk NR33 0RZ
  • Salary: £17,113 - £18,257 per annum (£28,142 - £30,024 pro rata)
  • Hours: Part Time. 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, (alternative flexible working arrangements will be considered)

We are expanding our Trust People Team and looking for a passionate, motivated, and forward-thinking People Adviser to help support our incredible 1,500 employees across what will soon be 21 schools in our thriving Multi Academy Trust.

This isn’t just another HR job. As a People Adviser, you will play a key role in shaping how we support, grow, and develop our people.

You will be:

  • providing trusted HR advice across a wide range of employee relations matters
  • working closely with school leaders to support the full employee lifecycle
  • helping with the ongoing implementation of our brand-new HRIS
  • supporting change, and collaborating on trust-wide projects
  • visiting schools primarily in North Suffolk/South Norfolk, with occasional travel further afield and working from home too!


You will be mentored by one of our experienced People Partners, giving you the guidance and space to grow as a people professional.

This is the perfect role if you are looking to develop your HR expertise in a meaningful way.

We are looking for someone:

  • With CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience) and ready to take on further professional development.
  • Who thrives on collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • With excellent people skills, able to build strong relationships, influence, and communicate effectively.


Experience in education or the public sector is a bonus but what really matters is your passion for people and your drive to make a difference.
