Job summary

Willmott Dixon is seeking an experienced People Administrator to join our People (HR) team. You will support onboarding, employee changes, and leaver processes while maintaining accurate records and delivering timely, personable responses to colleagues.

The role emphasizes data integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset. You will collaborate with PX Hub team members and stakeholders across the business to ensure consistent service delivery in a fast-paced environment,

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Administrator to join our People (HR) team at the heart of our people function. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the employee experience, supporting colleagues at every stage of their journey while ensuring all HR processes are delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and a personal touch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding: Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Lifecycle Administration: Process employee changes, manage leaver procedures, and maintain accurate records throughout the employee journey.
  • Query Resolution: Act as a key point of contact for general people and benefits-related queries, providing timely, people focused, and clear responses.
  • People Experience: Deliver a high quality, personal service that reflects a people first approach, ensuring every interaction is professional and personable.
  • Administrative Support: Carry out general people administration tasks, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other PX Hub team members and stakeholders to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.
  • Experience in HR or people administration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach to work.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using HR systems and databases.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and employment-related administration.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders across different teams or locations.
