Job description

WTW's Pension Technical Unit is a team of pension SMEs providing strategic advice and implementation support to shape the future of retirement provision.

We are looking for a Pensions Technical Adviser to join our team of Pension SMEs who help clients navigate evolving challenges in DB and DC schemes driven by changing policies, legislation, and market developments.

The Role

• Work within the WTW Pensions Technical Unit, on legislative requirements affecting occupational and personal pension arrangements.
• Share responsibilities with other Pensions Technical Advisers in the unit.
• Update and maintain the intranet material, ensuring it is logically structured and accessible.
• Analyze new legislation, court cases, and practice changes to identify relevant updates.
• Write summaries of new developments for consultants and clients.
• Provide enquiry support via phone, email, and face-to-face, prioritizing updating work.
• Stay informed on current developments outside your area of expertise.
• Create WTW publications, internal and external headlines, blog posts, and articles for external media as needed.
• Participate in internal and external seminars.
