Reputable Big 4 firm seeking an NNQ qualified actuarial manager to join their growing pension risk transfer team from any of their UK offices.

Oliver James is pleased to be working with a reputable Big 4 firm seeking an NNQ qualified actuarial manager to join their growing pension risk transfer team from any of their UK offices.

Within this role, you will be involved in all aspects of risk transfer work (such as buy-ins, buy-outs, and capital-backed journey plans) with the opportunity to focus on traditional transactions, alternatives, or new solutions. You will have exposure to a wide range of clients, both Corporate and Trustee, including large multinational organizations. You will proactively manage a portfolio of clients, drive projects forward, and establish effective working relationships internally and with external advisers/insurers. As a manager, you will lead certain aspects of projects and support or delegate to juniors.

Role requirements:

1. FIA qualified or possess equivalent work experience
2. Recent experience in risk transfer work
3. Relevant UK pensions experience, gained in an actuarial advisory team
