Job Description

Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a Third Party Pensions Company that is recruiting for a DB Pensions Technician to work in either their London or Glasgow office.

Key Duties

You will bring technical experience and lead on key projects and scheme events to ensure they are completed within service level agreements and in line with procedural and client requirements.

What you will do:

  1. Work with Technicians and the Team Leader to deliver requirements for Scheme Events and Projects, including timescales, deliverables, quality, and sign-off, and drive the planning process.
  2. Ensure the accuracy and quality of Scheme Events and Projects.
  3. Understand, build, maintain, and enhance customer relationships.
  4. Ensure all technical information and changes are communicated to the team, and processes are updated accordingly.
  5. Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls, making suggestions to improve service delivery, processes, and reduce potential complaints and risks.
  6. Support the management team in service delivery and business support, including ad hoc projects and audits.

Your skills and experience will include:

  1. Experience in delivering key projects and scheme events.
  2. Hands-on knowledge of DB pension schemes.
  3. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  4. Strong IT and MS Excel skills.
  5. Analytical skills, attention to detail, and good time management.
  6. Ability to support the team with complex casework, high-value cases, and complaints.
  7. Desirable: PMI or other pensions qualifications.
