Job summary

Clearwater People Solutions Ltd is supporting a well-established public service organisation seeking a Pensions Lead to join their Pension administration team for a 12-month FTC. The role is to lead and manage the collaborated pension function across multiple locations, ensuring timely, accurate regulatory compliance and high-quality service to employees and stakeholders.

You will act as the technical lead on pensions, provide expert advice, drive continuous improvement, lead pension projects,

Qualifications

• Experience of managing pension operations and administration.
• Public Sector experience is highly advantageous
• Hands on experience of managing and delivering pension related activities and projects
• Strong communication skills
• Happy to undergo pre-employment checks and vetting

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the collaborated Pension function reporting to the Operations Manager working closely with key stakeholders and partners internally and externally
• Act as the technical lead on all matters relating to pensions and responsible for providing advice and resolving queries
• Drive continuous improvement within the pension function and ensure that all complaints and issues are resolved at the lowest level possible, in a timely manner
• Lead complex pension related projects to drive improvement and fulfil legislative/regulatory requirements
• Understand and be responsible for the management of demand into the pension and payroll administration function for example queries relating to policy, procedures and processes
• Lead the resolution of complex issues relating to retirement, ill health, transfers and other applicable employee lifecycle matters.
