Pensions Lawyer (NQ-5)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ambitious Pensions lawyer to join a highly regarded and growing Pensions team, ranked among the top in the UK.


Based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, this role offers exposure to high-quality work, market-leading clients and a supportive, collaborative environment.


The team advises a diverse client base, including pension fund trustees, corporates, public authorities, insurers and financial institutions.


Work is wide-ranging, spanning technical pensions law advice, scheme management, pensions disputes and investment matters, with opportunities to be involved in innovative projects such as infrastructure investment and regulatory change.



You will


  • Be newly qualified or have up to 5 years’ PQE, ideally with prior pensions experience or a strong interest in this area

  • Demonstrate strong technical ability, sound commercial judgment and excellent attention to detail

  • Be a team player with the interpersonal skills to develop lasting client and colleague relationships

  • Have enthusiasm for business development and market engagement, including training sessions, networking and client-facing activities
