Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Experience in pensions administration and data handling.
• Ability to manage tasks with support from more experienced team members.
• Interest in learning bulk calculation methodology and data transformation techniques.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work within agreed budgets and scopes, subject to suitable support from more experienced members of the team.
• Working towards APMI or other PMI related qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Preparing scheme data for buy-in/buy-out transactions.
• Assisting with GMP reconciliation/rectification and equalisation exercises.
• Supporting data readiness for the Pensions Dashboard and other regulatory initiatives.
• Helping with benefit audits and data cleansing activities.
• Contributing to new business transitions and onboarding processes.
• Collaborating with internal administration teams and external clients to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
