Job Title: Pensions Data Director

We are recruiting for a Pensions Data Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding client issues, setting strategies to resolve them, and providing technical guidance and oversight to the implementation team. You will be responsible for technical reviews to ensure the accuracy of results sent to clients, leading to correct member entitlements and payments.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge of DB pensions, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate complex data correction strategies clearly. You will contribute to the technical development of colleagues within our diverse team. As a data specialist, you will oversee multiple client projects, offering a varied and fulfilling career with WTW.

Experience in pension correction and rectification exercises, along with hands-on experience throughout data project lifecycles—from auditing and due diligence to cleansing and correction—would be advantageous.

This role can be based in our London, Reigate, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, or Edinburgh offices, with a hybrid working model.

The Team

WTW’s Project & Data Solutions team brings extensive experience and flexibility to deliver solutions for complex requirements and large DB pension schemes. The team has experience in creating and delivering solutions for a wide range of issues and clients.

Our services include:

  • Auditing data, benefits, and calculations
  • Bulk data rectification and benefit reconstruction
  • Data cleansing and electronic data improvement

We also lead data workstreams for de-risking projects, ensuring data is an enabler rather than a barrier.

What We Offer

As an industry leader, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including pension, life insurance, medical insurance, eye care vouchers, and flexible benefits such as critical illness cover and dental options. We provide clear career paths and support colleagues in tailoring roles to match their passions, strengths, and aspirations.
