Pensions Benefits Technician

Join this leading organisation and provide a full benefits administration service. Plan and organise work to meet deadlines and service standards. Work closely with Senior Technicians and trainees to ensure smooth team operations with minimal supervision.

Location: London, 2 days in the office per week.

About the role
  • Administer the Scheme’s benefits according to Scheme Rules and established processes, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Handle casework in line with client service agreements and deadlines, maintaining accuracy and quality, and reporting risks to senior staff.
  • Follow best practices, document processes, and review work procedures for efficiency improvements.
  • Provide comprehensive benefits administration to members from start to finish.
  • Support contribution and data processes as needed.
  • Update and utilise daily work reports as instructed.
  • Assist and support colleagues, including senior technicians and trainees, in service delivery.
  • Assist with system testing related to calculations, letters, and processes.
  • Support other teams and team members when required.
About you
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with passes in Maths and English.
  • Part-qualified in PMI or similar qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in cradle-to-grave DB administration.
  • Experience in DC administration.
  • Knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, processes, and procedures.
