Job summary

NFP is seeking a Pensions Associate to join our Retirement Team to support consultants and account managers in delivering governance, strategy and consulting services to pension clients.

You will analyse pension and membership data, produce reports, and assist with governance meetings and client presentations. This role offers exposure to a range of pensions and financial wellbeing projects within a collaborative, dynamic consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within pensions, employee benefits, financial services or consulting.
• Knowledge of Defined Contribution (DC) pension schemes.
• Experience supporting governance or client-facing projects.
• Familiarity with pension scheme data and reporting.
• Experience interpreting data to produce insights and recommendations.
• Confident presenting information to colleagues and clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a consultancy or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pension, workforce and membership data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Produce reports and management information to support client recommendations.
• Support opportunities for financial planning and wider employee benefits engagement.
• Provide analytical support for client projects and consultancy assignments.
• Prepare governance reports, presentations and meeting packs for clients.
• Support consultants in delivering governance services to pension scheme clients.
• Monitor governance actions and project plans and ongoing client activities.
• Ensure client work is delivered in line with regulatory and governance requirements.
• Attend client governance meetings alongside consultants.
• Present sections of analysis and governance reporting to clients.
• Assist with client meetings and presentations.
• Travel to client sites to attend governance meetings as required.
• Provide support across a range of pensions and financial wellbeing projects.
• Coordinate actions, tracking progress and assisting with project governance activities.
• Support the delivery of strategic and operational initiatives within the pensions team.
