Job summary

West Midlands Pension Fund in Wolverhampton is seeking a Level 3 Pensions Apprentice to join the pensions service. The role is a 22‑month fixed term, full-time with a hybrid work pattern, offering practical experience and study support.

The apprentice will learn to process member record amendments, respond to enquiries and work within established procedures while developing professional skills and qualifications for a future in pensions.

Qualifications

• Motivated and detail‑oriented candidate seeking to develop in a corporate pension environment.
• Good communication and organisational abilities to handle member enquiries and record changes.
• Willingness to learn and complete professional exams with study support.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional image of the Fund and assist members with enquiries.
• Process and validate amendments to a member’s record due to changes in employment/personal circumstances.
• Handle correspondence from scheme members and respond in line with Fund procedures.
