Qualifications

  • GCSEs in English and Maths required.
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills essential.
  • Experience in a financial or pensions environment preferred.

  • Administer pension awards according to Service Level Agreements.
  • Resolve customer inquiries through oral and written communication.

Role Summary

The Pension Administrator role is based at our Liverpool office. It is suitable for someone who thrives in a busy environment and seeks opportunities to learn and progress. Full training will be provided for the first 6 weeks, followed by support from an experienced colleague. After training, flexible working options, including working from home, may be available.

Business Function

MyCSP is one of the UK’s leading pension administrators, serving public and private sector organizations, including the Civil Service Pension scheme with over 1.5 million members.

We are a mutual joint venture between employee partners, who own 25% of the company, and our private sector partner, Paymaster. Employee partners are represented on the Board and have decision-making rights.

Core Duties/Responsibilities
  • Administer pension awards in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Check the integrity of customer data
  • Resolve customer inquiries (oral and written)
  • Draft non-standard correspondence
  • Input and access customer details
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
  • GCSE grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • PC literate
  • Resided in the UK for at least 5 years
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Awareness of pension scheme rules and legislation (not essential)
  • Experience in financial/pensions environment (preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
