Job summary

Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) invites aspiring actuaries to join as a Summer Intern in London. You will analyse data, model pension scheme cashflows, and prepare client‑ready analysis under senior actuaries.

You’ll gain real project exposure, learn about pension risk transfer, and present findings to peers. A Level Maths and a 2:1 degree expectation are required, with strong numeracy, problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Analysing data and performing calculations at member and scheme level.
• Model pension scheme cashflows and produce analysis for client reports.
• Prepare figures and analyse impact of pension schemes on balance sheets.

Responsibilities

• Analysing data and performing calculations at individual member and scheme level
• Using LCP in-house software to model pension scheme cashflows and produce analysis for client reports
• Preparing figures and analysing the impact of pension schemes on balance sheets of UK and international companies
• Working with senior actuaries to set key assumptions to value liabilities
• Contributing to letters and reports for clients
• Learning about pension risk transfer and post-transaction projects
• Researching and presenting a technical topic to LCP peers
• Excellent communication skills
