Job summary

Sellick Partnership has partnered with a leading consultancy to recruit a Pensions Actuarial Consultant for their London-based team. The role offers hybrid working, with the chance to support a varied portfolio of pension scheme clients and deliver high-quality actuarial advice.

The ideal candidate will have experience in pensions consulting, strong DB knowledge, and excellent communication skills, with progress toward actuarial qualifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience within pensions actuarial consulting.
• Strong understanding of defined benefit pension schemes.
• Progress towards actuarial qualifications is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supporting actuarial valuations and pension scheme funding work
• Providing advice on scheme funding, risk management and de-risking strategies
• Assisting with bulk annuity transactions, including buy-ins and buy-outs
• Preparing reports, calculations and client deliverables
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with trustees and clients
• Supporting senior consultants across a range of actuarial projects
