Job Description

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Pensions Accounts Assistant on behalf of a Local Authority in London to join the team on a temporary basis. The Pensions Accounts Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day and periodic pensions accounting tasks.

These may include contribution monitoring and reconciliation, benefits reconciliation and posting, expense monitoring and posting, investment posting and bank reconciliations.

In addition, the PAA will assist in answering internal and external audit queries and assisting the team members in preparing quarterly and final accounts and annual reports.

Candidate Criteria
  • Part-qualified CCAB/CIMA or AAT Qualified
  • Experience of working in a pensions based accounting role, preferably in Local Authority
  • Experience of reconciliations, expenses and investments as well as supporting audit processes
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
