Job summary

Hymans Robertson in the United Kingdom seeks an Associate Risk Transfer Consultant to help clients manage pension risk through insurance market transactions. You will work with Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers on UK defined benefit schemes to deliver high-quality advice at critical decision points.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate subject or equivalent experience.
• Strong progress through IFoA examinations.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple risk transfer projects, coordinating across teams.
• Prepare high-quality advice and check calculations by juniors.
• Build trusted client relationships across the business.
• Support post-transaction activities and other actuarial work as needed.
• Manage delivery against project plans and escalate risks as required.
• Deliver training sessions to clients and prepare invoices.
• Ensure accuracy and clear audit trails across work.
