Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound calls to discuss any enquiries relating to their account.
  • Providing a clear and efficient response putting the customer first.
  • Providing updates around their pension product such as valuations.
  • Spotting complex queries/complaints and raising them internally.
  • Updating the client database with key information acquired.

Skills

Experience within customer service ideally telephone based
Excellent interpersonal and empathy skills
Understanding of mathematics
English fluency both written and verbal
Confidence with Microsoft applications including Excel

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic Pension Customer Service Agents to support pension customers on the phone with their account enquiries. You will be responsible for providing each customer with a positive experience and working to resolve their queries over the phone and email as well as completing administrative activities. This is a great opportunity to join the pension industry, and further your experience in customer services whilst working from the friendly office in central Liverpool.

Responsibilities
  • Managing inbound calls to discuss any enquiries they may have relating to their account.
  • Providing a clear and efficient response within company guidelines that always puts the customer first.
  • Providing updates and information where applicable around their pension product such as valuations, transfer progress, and balance.
  • Spotting potential complex queries / complaints and raising these internally to ensure a swift resolution.
  • Updating the client database with all key information acquired from the call.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience within customer service ideally telephone based.
  • Excellent interpersonal and empathy skills to really connect and make a positive experience on each interaction.
  • Understanding of mathematics and interpreting data.
  • English fluency both written and verbal.
  • Confidence with Microsoft applications including Excel.
  • Financial services experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Role Details
  • Core hours: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
  • Location: Full time on site in central Liverpool.
  • Training: First 2 - 4 weeks.
