Job summary

Mercer seeks a dedicated Communications Consultant to join the Impact team, focusing on pension communications and supporting Senior Consultants from initial contact to final evaluation. You will identify communication needs to engage pension scheme members and collaboratively create content for diverse audiences.

The role offers the opportunity to support wider Mercer communications across Marsh’s offerings, building internal and external partnerships and contributing to a variety of projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable passion for writing with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across organisational levels.
• Experience or interest in pension communications and member options.

Responsibilities

• Review, curate, and edit communication collateral for pension members and other audiences.
• Develop and deliver strategic communication plans tailored to client needs.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships as a trusted partner for pension communications.
• Collaborate with Mercer teams to identify new communication opportunities beyond pensions.
• Manage multiple projects with timely delivery, budget control, and quality.
• Contribute to process improvements in communication workflows.
• Support new business proposals and pitches as required.
