We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consulting Delivery team at MercerMarsh Benefits. This role will be based in London. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

The role: Pensions Analyst

We are looking for a Pension Administrator to support our Workplace Savings Consultants and/or start a career in consulting.

This position is suitable for an experienced DC/DB/SIPP/SSAS/IFA Administrator seeking their next career move, or an Analyst/Associate eager to expand their knowledge of benefits management platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing pension governance presentations by analyzing data for client meetings.
  2. Attending pension governance meetings, documenting minutes, and following up on actions.
  3. Onboarding and implementing new pension clients, ensuring correct setup on Darwin and with providers, and creating employee-facing documents.
  4. Leading or participating in pension change projects, updating Darwin for scheme, provider, and contribution changes.
  5. Supporting auto-enrollment and re-enrollment projects, maintaining documentation, and resolving client queries.

Essential requirements:

  • A degree or relevant administration experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A desire to develop in Group Personal Pensions and learn about insurers, products, and clients.

Preferred qualifications and attributes:

  • Industry-recognized qualifications (not essential).
  • Previous experience as a DC/DB/SIPP/SSAS/IFA Administrator aiming to advance.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.
