Job Description:

Based in Cambridgeshire, you will be working for a trusted provider of expert guidance and tailored services for Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes, the Senior Pensions Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting this team and developing team members. They will be key in delivering pragmatic solutions, and guiding scheme members through their pension journey, which will contribute greatly to the overall success of the pensions administration team.

Responsibilities
* Deliver pragmatic solutions and apply logical problem-solving approaches
* Support and develop team members through mentorship and guidance
* Prepare helpful and informative documentation for stakeholders
* Engage with pension scheme members, clients, and third parties
* Guide scheme members through their pension journey with empathy
* Provide support to the Team Leader as needed
* Perform and check calculations, assisting with complex cases

Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in diverse Pensions Administration roles
* Progress in PMI qualification or equivalent, or willingness to study
* Excellent communication skills, conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely
* Ability to calculate pensions and interpret scheme rules accurately
* Proven and significant experience dealing with DB schemes
* Good awareness of relevant legislative issues in the industry
* Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, meeting role responsibilities
* Ability to meet client SLAs, contribute to best practices
* Proficient Microsoft Excel skills, able to create calculation templates
