Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Program Governance Lead for Penetration Testing to coordinate vendor management and delivery excellence across the program. This role focuses on governance, strategy, and commercial aspects, not hands-on testing.

The successful candidate will operate across vendor relationships, reporting structures, and cross-functional governance forums to ensure consistent outcomes and alignment with the Penetration Testing strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in vendor management and program oversight in a large, matrixed organization.
• Strong project/roadmap planning and executive-level status reporting.
• Understanding of penetration testing delivery models and the offensive security space.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience running governance forums with KPI reporting and action follow-through.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor management for penetration testing delivery, including performance management and continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain program-wide delivery standards and ensure vendor adherence.
• Run vendor governance cadences with KPI-driven reporting and escalation management.
• Oversee Penetration Testing strategy execution with delivery roadmaps and milestones.
• Serve as the primary link between Penetration Testing and wider governance forums.
• Coordinate with partner teams to support governance and program execution.
• Lead a small team, set direction, allocate work, and coach team members.
