Job summary

WorkNest Secure is seeking Offensive Security Consultants (Penetration Testers) to join our growing Cyber Security team in the United Kingdom. You will perform CHECK-accredited penetration tests across multiple environments and deliver actionable remediation guidance to clients.

You will work with a skilled team, contribute to challenging engagements, and enhance your expertise while maintaining high-quality client reports and adhering to SLAs.

Qualifications

• Proven industry experience in app and infrastructure pentesting.
• CTM status.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux, including Active Directory.
• Ability to perform social engineering (phishing and vishing).
• Solid understanding of OWASP and PTES methodologies.
• Knowledge of modern web app design and deployment.
• Ability to program or script in a chosen language.
• Relevant degree in CS, Ethical Hacking, Engineering or related.
• Relevant security qualifications (OSCP, CEH, GPEN).
• Good knowledge of networks and OS principles.
• Knowledge of various OS and virtualization.
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of hardware and embedded IoT devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform formal penetration testing on applications, infrastructure and other targets.
• Provide well-written, concise technical and non-technical reports in English.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments with remediation actions.
• Assist with scoping activities and proposal drafting to meet client needs.
• Manage and deliver penetration testing project activities within deadlines.
• Support QA to ensure high-quality client reports per SLA.
• Perform other duties aligned with the post holder’s skill and experience.
