Penetration Tester

Are you a skilled and passionate Penetration Tester ready to make a significant impact? Our Cyber Security Practice is looking for a new team member to join our Penetration Testing team and deliver essential IT Health Checks and penetration tests, directly enhancing our clients' digital security. As a key ambassador for our Cyber brand, you will report to a Principal Penetration Tester and contribute actively to our expert team.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Sharpen Your Skills, Sharpen Our Security: Continuously develop your expertise in penetration testing by collaborating with senior team members and staying current on industry trends.
2. Become a Testing Titan: Work alongside senior testers to deliver comprehensive IT Health Checks and penetration tests, identifying and reporting on vulnerabilities.
3. Knowledge is Power: Share your knowledge and experience with fellow team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
4. Expand Your Horizons: Develop a diverse skillset to offer a wider range of testing services, meeting evolving business needs.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Experience in working in penetration testing teams contributing to the delivery of penetration testing services.
• Current penetration testing qualification, such as CREST Practitioner Security Analyst, Crest Registered Tester, or Cyber Scheme Team Member.
• 2+ years of penetration testing experience.
• Ability to maintain UK security clearances as required by the business.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Bash, PowerShell, VB, Python, etc.
• Demonstrable experience with penetration tools such as Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, BurpSuite, etc.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols and the OSI model.
• Ability to follow security testing methodologies developed by the security testing practice when performing and reporting on IT Health Checks and penetration tests.
• Previous exposure to web application testing, cloud, external and internal network testing.
