Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth runs the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme on behalf of a public sector client, which mandates or strongly recommends such testing across all departments and infrastructure.

The team assesses the methodology and work of all scheme members from application through their participation. Members are supported to improve or, if necessary, are removed from the scheme.

We require someone with experience as a senior penetration tester responsible for quality assuring other penetration testers' output in an operational environment. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also desirable.

Ideally, the candidate will have past experience with the Scheme but should not currently have contracts that could pose a conflict of interest.

The successful candidate should also have experience as a senior member of an adversary simulation team, overseeing and quality assuring others' work.

The role involves:

• Sampling reports throughout the year to ensure adherence to standards and maintain technical capability for scheme participation.
• Sampling reports from new Team Leaders, providing coaching or remedial support as needed.
• Processing new applications from companies wishing to join the Scheme.

SC Clearance is required for this role.

The position is primarily remote (90%), with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
