Pegasystems Platform Developer (Remote)

KBR, Inc., located in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Pegasystems PEGA platform developer to join our Mission IT team assisting the U.S. Department of Transportation's Volpe Center. The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to define, develop, and support robust integrated PEGA digital solutions.

The PEGA platform developer position requires strong solution design skills and a broad knowledge of business applications, data, hardware, and external system interfaces. Responsibilities include:
- Describing software structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects to project stakeholders
- Developing features, user stories, and solution requirements
- Providing specifications for solution definition, management, and delivery
- End-to-end delivery of digital systems, including:
- Development of new features or user stories
- Issue resolution and system resilience
- Quality assurance and testing, including orchestrating automated tests
- Collaborating with IT and business partners to assess technology needs and develop solutions
- Participating in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes, standards, and requirements, working with applications, security, legal, compliance, operations, and engineering teams
- Ensuring solution designs align with strategic directions and architectures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pega Certified Business or System Architect
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Extensive experience developing on the Pegasystems platform using Cosmos and Constellation
- Experience working with IT systems and understanding their interactions to deliver business automation
- Certifications or experience in designing solutions with cross-functional teams
- Post-graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
