Salary: £30,869 - £33,039 pro rata
2 x Part Time Roles - 20 hours per week each.
These roles are fixed term for a period of one year.
On Site DD4 8UA - There may be a requirement for travel across Tayside.

Scottish Autism, in partnership with NHS Tayside, is looking for a Peer Support Worker to join the Tayside Adult Autism Consultancy Team (TAACT). This is an exciting opportunity to bring lived experience to provide support and contribute to the development of neuroaffirmative services that are centred on the needs of autistic adults across Tayside.
As Peer Support Worker within TAACT, you'll work alongside a team of specialists in their areas, this includes psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and psychiatry. You will support with the facilitation of post-diagnostic support, co-develop resources and groups, and strengthen the voice of autistic people in how services are shaped and delivered.

The Company
Scottish Autism is one of the largest providers of autism-specific services in Scotland, with a commitment to a social model of support. You'll be employed by Scottish Autism but embedded within NHS Tayside's TAACT team - a small, specialist team offering diagnostic assessments, interventions, and consultations for autistic adults across Tayside. TAACT are committed to ensuring that all aspects of their services are responsive to needs of the individuals they support.
