Job description

Application Deadline: 06/04/2025
Hours: 3 hours
Salary: N/A
Contract Type: N/A

Please note, we encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible to book a place in our Peer Navigator programme.

Volunteering at OTR is hugely rewarding, and we are looking to recruit a number of Peer Navigator volunteers to help staff our ‘drop-in’ Hub at the Armadillo Centre in Yate from April/May 2025.

The ‘drop-in’ Hub operates every Wednesday and involves meeting and talking with young people aged 11-25 in a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. Part of your role would include sharing information about OTR services, as well as supporting the regular young people who use the Hub as a social space. This may also include facilitating games, running activities, and taking part in discussions. All volunteers are supported by our Engagement Workers and other OTR staff and have the opportunity to lead in a certain area (e.g. creative activities).

We welcome applications from all young people aged 18-25. No experience is required other than wanting to help others, develop new skills, and be part of a community.
