Job summary

Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) is recruiting a Peer and Involvement Coordinator to support and grow our Peer Support Groups across Dumfries and the surrounding area. The role focuses on advising groups, connecting them with services, and coordinating volunteers to strengthen community engagement.

The post is home-based with travel across Dumfries & Borders, requiring a driving licence and a car.

Qualifications

• Experience working with voluntary groups or community networks is desirable.
• A positive attitude towards people with disabilities and long-term conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support and build relationships with CHSS Peer Support Groups within your area.
• Provide guidance to Peer Support Groups and connect them with relevant services and networks locally.
• Manage CHSS Peer Volunteers responsible for clusters of Peer Support Groups in your geographic area.
