Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Children's Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care for children and young people with acute or chronic health conditions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care throughout the hospital journey.

Responsibilities include clinical assessments, treatments, medications, and monitoring outcomes while contributing to audits, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a Registered Children's Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Demonstrates sound clinical judgement.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information clearly and compassionately.
• Engages with audits, quality improvement projects and evidence-based practice.

Aufgaben

• Undertake clinical assessments and plan patient care.
• Deliver treatments and interventions, administer medications, monitor progress and evaluate outcomes.
• Participate in audits, QI projects and research activities.
• Contribute to development of nursing services through guideline and policy implementation.
• Act as a role model, providing supervision and mentorship to colleagues and students.
