Qualifikationen

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree and GMC registration are required.
• MRCP, MRCPCH or equivalent credentials are essential.
• Accreditation with Royal Colleges in Paediatrics/Child Health and/or Anaesthesia is required.
• Two years SpR equivalent training or 6 months in tertiary PICU OR higher paediatric anaesthesia PICU experience.
• Experience in teaching, presentation and audit activities is desirable.

• Manage all aspects of transports to ensure safe, efficient transfer to ICU.
• Provide initial referral advice, coordinate transport, stabilise patient and ensure continuity of intensive care during transfer.
• Engage in audit, quality assurance projects, and research related to transport medicine and paediatric critical care.
