Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is offering a rotational Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner role across four Children’s Centres and various community settings. You will deliver delegated physiotherapy programmes and support children and young people with diverse needs.

The post requires compassionate, organised teamwork with excellent time management, observation and communication skills, plus the ability to perform manual handling.

Qualifications

• Welsh language level 3 or above preferred for shortlisting.
• Experience as Band 3 in healthcare or equivalent in leisure or social care.
• NVQ3 level or equivalent and 120 credits HC support worker framework.
• Basic understanding of commonly used therapy and medical terms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver delegated physiotherapy programmes and support children and families.
• Support individual and group therapy sessions and track progress.
• Organise and manage own caseload and assist data collection.
• Follow local protocols, care bundles and guidelines during care delivery.
