Job summary

Provide CIC is seeking a qualified occupational therapist to support children and young people with diverse needs in community and school settings. The role focuses on assessment, developing plans, and promoting independence and participation for children and families in Essex and surrounding areas.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred interventions, maintain records to NHS standards, and contribute to safeguarding and reports as required.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Qualification obtained.
• UK registration with HCPC.
• Minimum of 1 year OT experience.
• Valid driving license and access to car.
• Experience of the OT process and equipment assessment is desirable.
• Report writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s functional abilities and self-care skills.
• Develop and implement individualised intervention plans.
• Monitor progress and review outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Contribute to EHCNA and provide reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physio, SLT, paediatricians, educators, nurses, and social care professionals.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and identify welfare concerns.
• Manage a caseload under supervision.
