Job summary

Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a proactive Pharmacy Technician to support the clinical pharmacy service for CYPMHS across Kent and Medway. You will work with the Consultant Pharmacist and Lead Pharmacists in a multidisciplinary team, promoting medicines safety and patient care for children, young people and families.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma or equivalent required.
• GPhC registration is essential.
• Accredited medicines management qualification preferred.
• Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medicines management services across inpatient and community CYPMHS settings.
• Conduct medicines reconciliation and discharge planning; provide patient counselling.
• Support use of EPMA/medicines informatics systems and contribute to audits.
• Assist in teaching and training of pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
