Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in care and Emergency Department is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible approach to shift patterns (Mon-Sun, Days & Nights, 365 days a year).
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and deliver care to paediatric patients.
• Support registered nurses in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with age-related play and distraction therapy.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy and dignity at all times.
• Assist with waste management and maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Follow department policies and contribute to a high standard of care.
