Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children seeks Clinical Fellows (Trust Fellow equivalent to ST6+) in ECMO and Cardiac Intensive Care. The post targets trainees at ST6+ level or above, including international applicants, in a world-class paediatric CICU with extensive ECMO and VAD experience.

The role involves direct medical care for critically ill paediatric patients, close MDT collaboration, and leadership in coordinating complex cases including ECMO and transplant-related care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients on cardiac intensive care and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Work in close co-operation with the wider multi-disciplinary team including cardiorespiratory and intensive care services.
• Coordinate care of children on cardiac intensive care, including those with complex congenital heart disease, extracorporeal life support or ventricular assist device.
• Take a share in all unit activities and supervise junior clinical staff.
